survive and his view of life will keep him safe, a redeeming feature which makes him different from Paula and Paddy. The structure of all three books successfully conveys the story of each character and it makes the reader turn the pages eagerly. Humour and effective imagery make the narration of each novel extremely enjoyable. My heart was broken at Paula's plight to regain control and I laughed out loud at Paddy and Henry's adventures.
