On April 17 of 2002, the House approved a bill that would make it a federal crime for anyone other than a parent to take a girl under age 17 across state lines for an abortion, but the Senate action appears unlikely. It was quite an experience to see the speeches and stations setup from the pro-choice and pro-life believers. Whatever the verdict on this law, it should be thought out so that whatever is done is done so that the girl will be happy and not scarred for life, hopefully this is the way our government will think.
