Alexander Graham Bell (1847-1922) Alexander Graham Bell was born in Edinburgh, Scotland, on March 3rd 1847. After Bell's two brothers died of tuberculosis, and he was threatened by the disease himself, his family moved to Ontario, Canada in 1870.
