"All the President's Men" was one of the most difficult books I have ever read and I am glad that I was able to force myself through the book. "All the President's Men" is a story of mystery, power and corruption. The scandal covered in this book was the Watergate break in. The story begins by giving the background information on Carl Bernstein and Robert Woodward, the main characters of the story. Woodward, a 29-year-old

it also shows the importance of the first amendment. I learned how powerful that first amendment could be. If it were not for the first amendment the truth behind Watergate would have never have been exposed and that would of changed the course of history in many ways. While many people are attracted to the U.S. for religious freedom and freedom of speech I learned that the freedom of press is just as important.
