In 1956, John Lennon started a band called The Quarry Men in Liverpool, England. They would play various events and even auditioned for a television show, but lost to a midget as a feature. musical genius and the earlier songs were great, as well. This group inspired not only a generation of more musicians, but they also inspired people to say what's on their mind, speak truthfully, look inside themselves and, most importantly, always have a sense of humor about everything. The Beatles were more than music; they were a group of individuals who, alone or together, shaped at least a part of the world we live in today.
