One of the principal points in the article seemed to be how gender is determined by the values taught throughout childhood, and who is teaching those values. Values are strictly fed through either the media or your peers, and that is how gender is "elected". Humans are born with a pre-determined sex, but gender is a growing and progression that matures over time.
