In the tragedy Antigone, both King Creon and Antigone are guilty of the same ultimate sin of their time. Though their reasons for committing hubris are different, they both are openly prideful and obstinant in their ideals and duties.

Hubris, being a major sin in the Greek religion was shown in both Antigone and Creon. Even though they were fighting against each other for their own causes and reasons, they both were outwardly prideful and boastful, each feeling they were correct in their judgments. Excessive pride, in a way, was the downfall of them both.
