In Aquinas' first proof for the existence of God, he begins by stating that there is motion in the world and states that there is no motion with out cause. wants a God of Philosophical virtue and presence, which may or may not be possible. Also in the way Aquinas seems to be setting up his God, there is not much allowance for personal involvement with contingent beings. In this, Aquinas may breed a God of Philosophy, but not, one of theology. For the separation and parallelism that its existence and ours work on, does not allow for high interaction as is in the Bible.
