In the transformation of German society the church was adversely affected as the Nazi regime was a deeply anti-Christian creed. It spurned the Christian values of charity, mercy and humility, exalted the use of violence and glorified the war for its own benefit. Because the Nazi regime showed no respect for the church there was no room for its beliefs in Nazi Germany therefore transforming the German society.
