3. Boredom occurs when there is little or no interest involved in the situation that is presented. You are bored because you are stuck in an instance that you don't want to belong in, but yet you cannot do anything about it or are not doing anything about it. Your mind is not completely focused and it is difficult to concentrate and feel interested. When one is bored, their boredom can be seen through their work.

In order to make wise philosophical decisions one must be able to completely consider all of the facts presented and evaluate the situation, when you are bored, you are deprived from logically thinking through all of the facts and therefore cannot make as wise of decisions as possible.
