America has never forgotten Benjamin Franklin because of what he did. He wrote as much as he possibly could. He became famous for being a scientist, an inventor, a statesman, a printer, a philosopher, a musician, and an economist. In 1784 he negotiates treaties with Prussia and other European countries. A year later Ben returns to Philadelphia. Two years later Ben is elected president of the Pennsylvania Society for Promoting the Abolition of Slavery, and he also serves as delegate to the Constitutional Convention. On April 17, 1790 Ben dies in Philadelphia, at the age of 84.
