Today the Blackfoot tribes reside on four reservation. Over 6,000 Indians, mostly of Piegan decent, live on the Blackfeet Indian Reservation in Montana; fewer than 20 percent are full blood. In addition there are more than 9,000 Indians living on the Blackfoot, Blood, and Piegan in Alberta.
