To be a human is to have emotions, to empathize with people, and to have memories and a past which you value. In Blade Runner, the replicants express more emotions than any human does. in a way not entirely known to man, and replicants are created artificially by man, there are so many similarities between them that it is virtually impossible to tell them apart. The two are almost identical, if anything replicants act with more empathy and compassion than any human does.
