These pressure groups can only really influence politics through the liaisons with members of other political parties. It can therefore be argued that the Scottish Parliament doesn't give Scotland any more representation than it had through just the MP's in Westminster as its powers are lacking and it can just be seen as another layer of costly politicians and bureaucracy.
