One poet sees it as a corrupt place of horror, pain, anguish, sin and death whereas the other sees it as something of an amazing sense of enlightenment, beauty and takes pleasure out of experiencing it. It just goes to show that everyone has their own opinions and it really is true that 'beauty is in the eye of the beholder'.
