What are the traits between Frank Capra's America and Oliver Stone's America? America is said to be strong willed, enterprising, materialistic, nationalistic, and stubborn; But would any of these really encompass the true nature of the American society. He never in a million years would have believed, as Stone did, That America would try to fill the gap with the violence and freakish people that he sees the media providing in a steady stream by way of T.V, movies, and radio. Both Stone and Capra identified the vehicle by which American society, at least in part, is formed with and now it is our task to get its message back on track.
