The Dead Poets Society is a movie set in the nineteen fifties about students attending a prestigious Ivy league all boys college. Mr Keating a charismatic English teacher encourages the students to seize the day and to make their lives extraordinary. However it also encouraged the students to rebel and to be reckless and adopt a do as you feel attitude. Seize the day can be a Christian ideal depending on how you interpret it. It is good to make the most of ones life, to be inspired and enthusiastic but also to be reasonable and considerate in accomplishing one's dreams.
