What do we say to younger kids when they see blood dripping down a football player's chin or when a famous basketball player is arrested for drunken driving? Do we tell them, "they are athletes so it's ok"? Of course not! Sports figures are looked upon as more than just athletes. We look at them as idols and role models. We can only hope that they act as ones.
