Introduction and Preliminary Results.
There are five factors which affect the rate of a reaction, according to the collision theory of reacting particles: temperature, concentration (of solution), pressure (in gases), surface are (of solid reactants), and catalysts. I have chosen to investigate the effect temperature and concentration have on a reaction. This is because they are the most practical to investigate - it would take longer to prepare a solid in powdered and solid form,

no exact fairness to the experiment. If a light sensor was used to pass through the solution to a receiver, then the results might be more accurate. This is because the light would find it more difficult to pass through the solution as the solid is formed, and the receiver could automatically stop the clock when it senses a certain decrease in the amount of light that reaches it. This would make the experiment fairer.
