After examining the declining numbers and researching the reasons behind the decline of the Kemps Ridley Turtle and the African Elephant I believe that mankind needs to devote more time and energy into developing effective recovery plans for our endangered species. Extinction looms on the horizon for many species, due to the actions of men. Their only hope is for mankind to focus more energy to the preservation and recovery of these animals.
