"Huck Finn" is a masterpiece of the American literature, written by Samuel Clemens, whom is well know under a pen name Mark Twain. During the whole story Huck plays different tricks on his partner, clearly stating by his behaviour that he and Jim belong to different classes, and have nothing in common besides their escape. Huck draws a clear line between him and Jim, and never allows Jim to cross it.
