EXPRESSIONISM
The year 1905 saw art get a double start, for the French Fauves weren't the only artists breaking new ground in that year. In 1905 in Dresden, Germany, a group of artists came together to form another art movement. They called their group Die Brucke, which means the bridge. But don't force yourself as an Expressionist. German Expressionists were highly emotional artists working in highly emotional times.
Perhaps you and your environment aren't the same. Yet, some of the following projects can offer some of the feelings of what it's like to create Expressionist art. You can be an Expressionist if you have positive feelings as well as negative ones. The Expressionist has feelings, depressing or uplifting, which he or she conveys through art.
