expecting parents have to attend parenting classes. This infringes on individual rights and does in no way provide substantial evidence that those who attended classes are better parents, then those who read books, went to support groups and searched the internet. Having mandatory parenting classes does not guarantee better parents. Although new parents are inexperienced they can receive just as much information form books, support groups and the internet as those who attended parenting classes.
