I really enjoyed the movie Frailty and it's nod to Hitchcock's work. I'm guessing that him killing his dad was the extent of it but why did God add him to the list later on in his life. The character of modern day Alex really does represent some of the people in this world (think the Bible belt) and their crusade for God. I couldn't help but think, "Wow, Alex is really intense. And his wife too."
