Americans tend to be very critical of the governmental bureaucracies because we consider it a slow and inefficient process of government; mainly due to bureaucracies having no competition, their purposes not being clearly defined, and bureaucratic pathologies.

What seems to be the most logical reason why we as Americans do not favor bureaucracies is simply because they are too slow a process and are too costly. And when we can find someone who can change that, is the day we get the best president we've had is a very long time.
