Kids who join gangs often don't know any better, and often they're just trying to adapt, and if anything, they're only guilty of obeying the laws of survival. What this means is that, contrary to the images we see in the media, a majority of gang members really are worth saving and helping, only if we have the will and the compassion to do so.
