"Ghost in the shell" is a Japanese anime film set in the year 2029. The world is a very different place, the net brings the planet together, and everyday people are part cyborg, part human. The ghost refers to the human soul and the shell is the cyborg body.

complex plot could not really be shown. With this disadvantage aside this is an excellent movie, fit for any Sci-Fi fan. The only disappointing factor was perhaps the lack of an ending; they only just touched on the issues of humanity and equality with machines. Perhaps this will be more closely covered in the soon to come sequel. Overall I would give the movie 7/10, well worth seeing if you the like the Anime/Futuristic genre.
