concept of causality can not be legitimately extended beyond the objects of possible sense experience and therefore cannot be extended to god. They are saying that we cannot apply causality to things beyond our sensible world. Therefore because we cannot sense god, we have no rational right to describe what he is using the concept of causality. Because causality by its nature is a principle of sense experience and has no application beyond sense experience.
