When comparing the two paintings "Guernica" and "Les Demoiselles" by Picasso, there are several distinctly noticeable differences. Notably, the most distinct difference between the two paintings is Picasso's use of color in "Les Demoiselles" as opposed to the predominant use of black and white in the painting "Guernica". Each and every line within the painting seems to have some sort of hidden meaning. This is how Picasso changed his approach to the painting of "Guernica" as opposed to "Les Demoiselles". He was using his art as a weapon, destructive and offensive in nature rather than a method of displaying beauty and harmony.
