1.The Four Houses of Hogwarts: In Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, an object called the Sorting Hat sorted the 1st year students into four houses. The boldest were sent to Gryffindor, the cleverest to Ravenclaw, the nicest to Hufflepuff, and the most power-hungry were sorted to Slytherin. Harry Potter and his friends Hermione and Ron were in the Gryffindor House. Harry's worse rival student, Draco Malfoy, was in the Slytherin House.

Elf is a little creature that cleans, organizes and cooks in a house. A House Elf belongs to a family until he dies and can stop serving the family only if one of the family members gives him a clothing article. In the book, the House Elf Dobby, who Harry met during his 2nd year at Hogwarts, started working in Hogwarts kitchen. He helped Harry to succeed in the second task of the Triwizard Tournament.
