Helen Keller was born like any ordinary baby, without any abnormalities. She was born June of 1880 in Tuscumbia, Alabama. It was a sleepy and very southern town. The beginning of her life was very normal. She came, she saw and she conquered. At the age of 19 months she came down with a fever as a result of an acute congestion of the stomach and brain. After that, no part of life would ever be simple

I found out about her life. Helen Keller is a real role model for me. She did not let any challenges stand in her way of accomplishing whatever it was she wanted. When things became difficult, instead of giving up, like so many other people would do, she drove on with more determination than ever. I would really recommend this book to all of my friends because I really enjoyed it and learned a lot.
