Throughout history, infanticide has been practised and accepted in most cultures, and not without good reason. Giving birth is one of the most natural things a mother can experience, and infanticide is a natural response when the birth should not have happened. So why is this natural tragedy still debated? Because of course, humans are inquisitive animals, and will always question the reasons for actions, and we will never fail to explore new ideas. Mothers who commit infanticide are simply acting on a natural reaction, and thinking of the future; an advantage that a new born baby does not posses.
