and Lady Macbeth loses power. This causes Macbeth to think that he does not need Lady Macbeth anymore which causes a major downfall in the relationship. This major downfall starts to happen after the first murder has taken place and continues to decline as the killing spree and play continue. This major down fall in the relationship and Lady Macbeth's lose of power causes her to have a mental break down and eventually kill herself.
