If marijuana was legal, then the government could regulate their use and sale more, much like they do tobacco and alcohol. Also the government would be able to receive some of the revenues from the sales. In all, the current policies that keep marijuana illegal must be changed so that American can have the right to decided whether or not they can benefit marijuana.
