It is always exhilarating to see the film version of a novel you've read. However, most of the times due the flexibility of the original novel it is much stronger than the film. The novel is able to explain the main idea with coherence and allows the reader to think and conclude about the story. The film version usually lacks these qualities, mainly due to the limited ways to express the theme of the story.

dark side of the boys better. This was mainly cause by some of the deleted scenes and missing events in the film. For example, the film has failed to emphasize Piggy's death and Simon as the "Christ figure". The novel clearly has achieved a far better vivid memory for the readers than the viewers of the film. However it was still a interesting and exulting experience to watch the film version of something you've read.
