Maurits Cornelis Escher
Maurits cornelis Escher was born in the Dutch province of Friesland on the seventeenth day of June in 1898. He Lived with his parents, George Arnold Escher and Sarah Gleichman Escher, and three older brothers. His father, George was Chief Engineer for a government bureau. He and his wife returned to Holland after having surgery in Toronto. During the month of March in 1972, M. C. Escher became very ill. His family came to see him in the Hospital, but on March 27, 1972 the life of Maurits, Cornelis Escher ended.
