The Civil Rights Movement is synonym with names such as Martin Luther King Jr. and Malcolm X. Although these two men wanted and strived to achieve equality for the Black community, their approach of their objectives were handled quite differently. He wanted justice and equality for both blacks and whites and he was willing to do so in a non-violent way. Malcolm X turned some people away with his ideas of whites and his violent approaches. Therefore, King won the hearts and sympathy of people.
