Many plays are interesting but one important play is mostly all about controversy and murder. This piece of writing is one of THE most controversial pieces of writing in English Literature to date. This play is 'Macbeth' which was written by William Shakespeare. Macbeth tells the story of Macbeth, Thane of Glamis who is persuaded by his wife to a certain extent to kill the king of Scotland. to himself as we saw him at the beginning of the play, merciless, uncaring and brave. The play ends with Macduff killing Macbeth and Malcolm rightfully proclaimed king.
So overall at the end of the play, Macbeth was not entirely responsible for his actions as his wife played in a major part to murder the king. I think he should have said no and meant it if he didn't want to murder Duncan at all.
