Depression can make life meaningless and nullify the most devoted relationships. Depression affects not only the sufferer, but his/her family, friends, co-workers and all loved ones. Therefore, it is important to be able to recognize its symptoms and know how to treat them. People lead greatly fulfilling lives once they have escaped the devastating grasp of depression.
