The monotony of the weeks had set in and I longed for a change, for some excitement, for something new. My friends and I had been invited to attend a wedding in Atlanta and I spent the week preparing for the trip. I packed my kitbag as if I would be gone for a month, even though it was only a weekend trip.

the only patrons, and we liked this. We ordered drinks and hit the dance floor, jamming to the smooth reggae music that was playing. We talked and laughed and danced. On the next round of drinks, I got a pina colada, my all time favorite. It was the best I had tasted in a long time, so a little tipsy and very happy, I decided to personally congratulate the bartender on such a great job.
