Most people considered Napoleon as the greatest soldier of his time and others think of him as the greatest ever. He made France the largest and wealthiest empire the world had seen since the fall of Rome. Yet he is not honored much because he enriched France by stealing treasures from other lands and his triumphs involve the slaughter of millions. He spoke of freedom while enslaving a continent.

The end of his "Hundred Day Return" ended in June 1815 in the Battle of Waterloo. This time, Napoleon was exiled to the tiny island of ST.Helena, far off the coast of Africa where he lived for another six years before dying of cancer on may 5, 1821.
