since I realized if I smoke in the workplace, and I am not in my office, I must be out smoking, or so people will think. The most important thing I learned from this experience is to get feedback, constantly. Ask for it, demand it, and strive for it, whether it is good or bad. Feedback from peers and employers is really the only way to squander perception on the path of truth and fact.
