not be for the colonization of Jamestown we would never have known about Pocahontas and might not even be where we are today. The book tells a lot of stories within a story. It gives a great understanding of how the ties between Indians and new settlers became friendly because of the things she did. She led a very important and influential life which changed the way everyone back then and today live their lives.
