The art is used to help in visualization of the character and the interpretation is purely pictorial and not needed to understand the poem fully. The narrator uses propaganda to put forth beliefs unbeknownst to the some readers and push views that require interpretation. The hope of the narrator in these interpretations is to hider the characters prominence and change any preconceived ideas.
