John Borman directed the movie "Excaliber" in 1981. This is a movie that the entire family could probably enjoy, were it not for the "R" rating. The ranking is deserved because of the sexual situations, nudity and violence it contains. This is not another "Harry Potter."
The movie is visually awe-inspiring with excellent special effects and won an Oscar for them. It depicts the legend of King Arthur and his famous mystical sword, Excaliber. The cast

The love of Guenevere (Cherie Lunghi) betrays Arthur for Lancelot (Nicholas Clay) and these three actors are very believable in their parts of the love-tossed trio. Merlin (Nicol Williamson) is another outstanding actor you don't want to miss, and your eyes are glued to his every move. This is an outstanding movie, just remember, it is strictly for adults.
