Robert Bruce Bruce, Robert lived from 1274-1329. In 1305 he was one of those who made the decision to make Scotland a province of England. In 1306 he met with and old enemy, the Scottish patriot john Comyn, a fight broke out and Bruce stabbed Comyn.
