en hit Hollywood, and that really got the publics attention. It was forcing actors and writers out of work once they became “blacklisted”. Schools even had anti-communistic groups. Everyone in the American culture could be blacklisted. As already mentioned above, it ranged form high ranking politicians to stars of Hollywood, to the local college teacher.
