…showed last 75 words of 1736 total…the Quaker stance on pacifism and the need for peace with thinking that Bush's war on terrorism is just. I was also surprised at the lack of involvement with the members. I assumed that the Quakers would "witness," but only one gentleman asked that we pray for the soldiers. In all, I found the service to be very dry. Although the people were extremely friendly, I felt no connection between the Divine and the community.
