My topic of this essay is "the Battle of Britain". I think "the Battle of Britain" is an important event in the British 20th century. In this essay I will explain this battle between Germany and Britain, discuss the importance of winning this battle, and what could be the consequences if Britain lost this battle. Lastly I will discuss how this event has marked the British history in later time.

faced a hard time. 200 000 houses were destroyed, and 250 000 houses which were unable to live in. Since factories, shops etc. were destroyed, the unemployment rate was high too. So the living conditions in Britain were not good, and people depended on ration cards.
However, after the battle and the war, Britain experienced that many people moved out of the cities to the countryside. As a result of this, Britain developed the most modern agriculture in Europe.
