"That'll be 3 dollars, 43 cents, Sir," said the old man as Michael paid for his gas. He had filled the tank in preparation for the long journey ahead. He and his fiancée Sarah were travelling together to visit his mother and father in southern Canada. He hadn't seen them for years.

Sarah wailed in terror and pulled on the creature's arms.
Michael passed out and woke up with the sun beating down on his face. He lay in a field outside the wood. The truck was ditched in a bank next to the track.
"What the hell was going on last night?" Michael said to Sarah in a course voice.
"I don't know...I really don't know" Sarah whispered.
"Lets get the hell out of here".
